Why I Quit New Year Resolutions And You May Want To Do The Same
by Shaylene King In: Uncategorized Tagged: Faith, fear, Mantras, New Year Resolutions

Don’t get me wrong, I think New Year resolutions are a good idea and for some, they may work well. I have tried in the past to make my resolutions stick, but to no avail. I end up frustrated and feeling like a failure, so I just quit. For 2018, I decided I would crush my resolutions. I researched articles on how to follow through with them and be successful. I have personally read several of them, given some of them away and share often this link with teachers, students and friends who have issues or concerns with bullying. Most are fiction books. Some deal with bullying head on while others characters experience it. I love how students can relate to the issue through fictional characters. One of my favorites is the Guardian Herd series by Jennifer Lynn Alvarez and her newest series Riders of the Realm coming out May 1st. I love in the first…
