It is so easy to look to our reflection and and compare what we see by what society tells us is beauty. When we focus on our physical beauty, we are helping only ourselves. Harper Collins Publishers has put together a great resource on bullying from their authors. I have personally read several of them, given some of them away and share often this link with teachers, students and friends who have issues or concerns with bullying. Most are fiction books. As an educator and parent of two teenagers with smart phones, I am acutely aware there are apps out there that are dangerous and easily accessible to them. It’s not that I think the creators of these apps are purposely out to harm our children but I realize any app can be dangerous in the wrong hands.
